Coffee Cake

(6-9 Servings)

Batter

  • 2 cups "JIFFY" Baking Mix
  • 3 Tbsp. sugar
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 egg, slightly beaten
  • 2 Tbsp. shortening, melted

Topping

  • 1 Tbsp. "JIFFY" Baking Mix
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 2 Tbsp. margarine or butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts

Preheat oven to 350°.  Grease an 8" square pan.

Blend together batter ingredients and spread into prepared pan. Combine topping ingredients and sprinkle over batter. Bake 25-30 minutes. Serve warm.
