Chocolate Coconut Almond Bars

(20 - 24 Bars)



  • 2 cups flaked coconut
  • 1 can (14 oz.) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/4 cup whole almonds


  • 2 cups chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 13” x 9” pan.

Combine muffin mix, sugar and crumbs. Add margarine or butter until blended. Press into bottom of pan. Bake 13 – 15 minutes. For filling, combine coconut and milk. Gently spread over hot crust. Press almonds into coconut mixture. Bake an additional 15 - 20 minutes. Cool for 15 minutes. For topping, melt chocolate chips and spread over top of warm bars. Chill 30 minutes or until chocolate is set.
