Banana Cream Dessert

(8-10 Servings)

  • 1 pkg. "JIFFY" Banana Muffin Mix
  • 1 egg
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 2 pkgs. (3.4 oz.) instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 1 pkg. (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cups milk
  • 4 bananas, sliced
  • 1 container (8 oz.) whipped topping, thawed
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts, optional

Preheat oven to 400°, grease 8" square pan.

Mix muffin mix, egg and 1/3 cup milk. Pour into prepared pan and bake 15 minutes. Cool and crumble. Combine pudding mix with cream cheese. Add 2 cups milk a little at a time and beat well. In separate bowl, layer muffin crumbs, pudding, bananas and whipped topping. Sprinkle with nuts if desired. Chill and serve.
