Chocolate Bars

(9-12 Bars)

Crust

  • 1 pkg. "JIFFY" Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix
  • 1/4 cup margarine or butter, softened
  • 1 egg
  • 2 Tbsp. instant chocolate pudding mix

Frosting

  • 1 pkg. "JIFFY" Fudge Frosting Mix
  • 4 oz. cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350°, grease 8" square pan.

Combine all ingredients for crust and blend well.  Press mixture into bottom of prepared pan.  Bake 15-18 minutes.  Cool 20 minutes.  Over low heat melt chocolate chips and set aside.  Mix frosting mix and cream cheese on high until well blended.  Add melted chocolate chips.  Blend until smooth.  Spread over bars, cut and serve.
