Coconut Chocolate Bit Bars
(9-12 Bars)
Crust
- 1 pkg. "JIFFY" Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 1 egg
Filling
- 1/4 cup margarine or butter, softened
- 7 oz. sweetened condensed milk
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 3 cups powdered sugar
- 1 cup flaked coconut
Frosting
- 1/4 cup whipping cream
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup margarine or butter
Preheat oven to 375°.
Combine crust ingredients and blend well. Press into bottom of ungreased 8" square pan. Bake 12 minutes. Let cool. Beat filling ingredients until smooth. Spread filling over crust. Cover and refrigerate until set. Over medium heat, mix frosting ingredients until smooth. Cool 10 minutes. Pour over filling. Refrigerate for 2 hours before serving.
