Recipes: Corn Muffin Mix

Corny Dogs

(10-12 Servings)

  • 1 pkg. "JIFFY" Corn Muffin Mix
  • 1 to 1/2 lbs. hot dogs
  • 2/3 cup flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1/2 tsp. paprika
  • 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper

Preheat deep fryer oil to 375°.

Combine ingredients and blend well. Pour batter into drinking glass large enough to dip hot dogs. Dip hot dogs one at a time and carefully place in deep fryer. Fry for 3 minutes or until done, remove and drain on paper towel.
