Sour Cream Spice Cake
(6-9 Servings)
- 1 pkg. "JIFFY" Golden Yellow Cake Mix
- 1 pkg. "JIFFY" White Frosting Mix
- 3/4 cup sour cream
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 Tbsp. margarine or butter
- 1/4 tsp. maple flavoring
Preheat oven to 350°, grease and flour 8" square pan.
Combine cake mix, sour cream, egg and water. Beat 2 minutes. Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake 25-30 minutes. In separate bowl combine frosting mix, butter and maple flavoring until crumbly. Set aside. Poke holes into cake with fork. Sprinkle frosting mixture on top of hot cake and return to oven for 4 minutes. Cool and cut.
