Recipes: Corn Muffin

Corny Dogs

(10-12 Servings)

  • 1 pkg. "JIFFY" Corn Muffin Mix
  • 2/3 cup flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1/2 tsp. paprika
  • 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
  • 1 to 1-1/2 lbs. hot dogs

Preheat oil in a deep fryer to 375°.

Blend all ingredients thoroughly, except hot dogs.  Pour batter into large drinking glass.  Dip hot dogs into batter one at a time.  Carefully place in deep fryer. Fry for 3 minutes or until done.  Remove and drain on paper towel.
