Fresh Blueberry Cobbler

(9-12 servings)

  • 1-3/4 cups fresh or frozen blueberries
  • 1 can (14 oz.) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 tsp. lemon peel
  • 3/4 cup plus 2 Tbsp. margarine or butter
  • 2-1/2 cups "JIFFY" Baking Mix
  • 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts

Preheat oven to 325°, grease 9” baking pan.

Combine blueberries, sweetened condensed milk and lemon peel. In separate bowl, cut 3/4 cup margarine or butter into baking mix until crumbly; add blueberry mixture. Spread in baking pan. In small bowl, combine 1/2 cup Baking Mix and brown sugar; cut in 2 Tbsp. butter until crumbly. Add nuts and sprinkle over cobbler. Bake 65-70 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm with whip cream or ice cream.
