Recipes: White Cake Mix

Fruity Cake

(10 servings)

  • 1 pkg. "JIFFY" White Cake Mix
  • 3 Tbsp. gelatin dessert (any flavor)
  • 2 Tbsp. margarine or butter, softened
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1/2 cup water

Preheat oven to 350°, grease and flour 8" baking pan.

Combine cake mix and gelatin dessert; add margarine or butter and mix well. Blend in egg whites and water. Beat on medium high for 3 minutes. Pour into prepared pan and bake 27-30 minutes. Let cool 5 minutes. Remove from pan and place on wire rack until completely cooled. Frost with desired topping and serve.
