Recipes: Fudge Brownie Mix

German Chocolate Brownies

  • 4 pkgs. "JIFFY" Fudge Brownie Mix
  • 1 pkg. "JIFFY" White Frosting Mix
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 Tbsp. water
  • 1/4 cup margarine or butter
  • 1 Tbsp. milk
  • 1/4 tsp. maple flavoring
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup flaked coconut
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350°, grease bottom of half sheet pan.

Blend together brownie mix, eggs and water. In separate bowl, combine frosting mix, margarine or butter, milk and 1/4 teaspoon maple flavoring and blend well; adding 1/2 cup pecans and coconut. Add frosting mixture and sour cream to brownie batter, blend well. Pour into prepared pan. Sprinkle remaining pecans and chocolate chips on top. Bake 35-40 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool and serve.
