Recipes: Pie Crust Mix
"JIFFY" Pinwheel Cookies
(18-24 Cookies)
White Batter
- 1 pkg. "JIFFY" Pie Crust Mix
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 tsp. almond extract
Chocolate Batter
- 1 pkg. "JIFFY" Fudge Brownie Mix
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup margarine or butter, softened
- 1/3 cup melted chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350°.
Mix together all white batter ingredients. Refrigerate for 1 hour. Combine dry ingredients for chocolate batter. Add egg, margarine or butter and melted chips; mix well. Chill for 1 hour. Roll white batter on floured surface to a 10”x8” rectangle. Roll chocolate batter on floured surface to a 10”x8” rectangle. Place chocolate batter over white batter evenly. Roll together. Cut into 1/2 inch slices and place on an ungreased baking sheet. Bake 12-15 minutes.
