Recipes: White Cake Mix

White Chocolate Cake

(12-15 servings)

Cake

  • 2 pkgs. "JIFFY" White Cake Mix
  • 1 pkg. (3.4 oz.) instant white chocolate pudding mix
  • 3 egg whites
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 3 white chocolate baking bars, finely chopped
  • 1 cup chopped pecans (optional)

Topping

  • 1 pkg. (3.4 oz.) instant white chocolate pudding mix
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 container (8 oz.) whipped topping
  • 2 white chocolate baking bars, grated

Preheat oven to 350°, grease and flour 13"x9" baking pan.

Combine cake mixes with pudding mix. In separate bowl, mix egg whites, sour cream and water; add to cake mixture and beat for 3 minutes on medium speed. By hand, blend in 3 white chocolate baking bars (finely chopped) and pecans. Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake 45-50 minutes or until tooth pick inserted in to center comes out clean. Let cool completely. For topping, mix together pudding mix, powdered sugar and milk, on low speed, until mixture becomes thick. Gently fold in container of whipped topping. Frost cooled cake and top with two grated white chocolate baking bars.
