Gingerbread

(9 - 12 Servings)

  • 1-3/4 cup "JIFFY" Baking Mix
  • 3 Tbsp. instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 1/4 tsp. cloves
  • 1 tsp. ginger
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup molasses
  • 1/4 cup shortening, melted

Preheat oven to 350°F.  Grease an 8” square pan.

Combine baking mix, pudding mix, spices and brown sugar.  Stir in eggs and milk.  Add molasses and melted shortening; beat thoroughly.  Pour into pan.  Bake 45 - 50 minutes.
