Cleaner/Assistant Miller
The Cleaner / Assistant Miller is responsible for the continuous sanitation of both the flour mill and wheat receiving facilities. In addition, they will assist the Flour Miller in operation of the Flour Mill, inspecting and repairing sifters, and maintenance repair on Flour Mill machinery.
qualifications:
Candidates must demonstrate the following qualifications.
- Good attendance and safety records.
- General knowledge of basic hand tools.
- Ability to learn basic computer skills.
- Ability to learn the operation of milling equipment.
- Ability to work in a “team environment”.
- Must be capable of cross training in other job classifications within the Flour Mill (different shifts possible)
- Must pass a Pulmonary Fit Test. (Respirator)
- Must be willing to attend training seminars and classes on job related subjects.
- Prior experience in milling related jobs or experiences preferred.
Working Environment:
- Working indoors
- During summer, extreme temperatures, (Hot)
- During some months extremely humid
- Possible working with heights
- Oil and grease involved. (maintenance repair)
- Evening or midnight shift
Pay: $27.70 per hour
