Director of Accounting and Finance

Are you an experienced Accounting and Finance professional with demonstrated leadership and team building skills, has strong functional skills, and looking to add value? If so, the Chelsea Milling Company is looking to add you as the next Director of Accounting and Finance.

The Director of Accounting and Finance will have the opportunity to take on a broad range of responsibilities and be a meaningful driver of value. As the leader of the Accounting and Finance Departments, this Director of Accounting and Finance will be a strong leader of people and teams, have functional responsibilities across Accounting and Finance, and other value-added tasks across “JIFFY”.

This position will have three direct reports but has responsibility for all Accounting and Finance team members.

This position requires:

• Knowledge and skills in accounting, preferably attained through completion of a bachelor’s or master’s degree.
• At least 10 years accounting work experience
• Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to present himself/herself and the company in a professional manner.
• Effective communication and organization skills
• Ability to work well with others in a collaborative and team focused way.
• Demonstrated ability to lead a team.
• Must be able to remain flexible and to work on multiple tasks.
• Proficient working the Microsoft Office Suite of Tools
• Extensive knowledge in Microsoft Excel
• Intellectual curiosity
• Must be able to operate in areas of high confidentiality.
