Electrician
The Electrician position uses their education & expertise to support production, wheat and flour facilities, offices and warehouses. They use their understanding of power and control wiring, programmable logic controllers (PLC’s), operator interfaces, and other electrical/electronic components of production and facility machinery and equipment. Coordinates all work involving installation, modification, troubleshooting, testing, repair, and calibration of a variety of electrical, electronic, and instrumentation equipment to support a manufacturing operation. Diagnoses and repairs complex electronic control system malfunctions. This position supports both production and the facility.
The minimum qualifications for this position include:
- Associate degree or vocational school four-year program in electrical or other appropriate technical discipline is preferred.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in electrical/controls in a manufacturing environment.
- Knows National Electrical Code, NFPA 70, And OSHA Electrical Safe Work Practices.
- Experience with programming PLC systems. (Experience with Allen Bradley networks desirable.)
- Experience with single and 480VAC three phase electrical distribution systems and motor controls.
- Experience with industrial wiring; solid state industrial equipment; blueprint and schematic reading; lockout/tagout.
Full-time (8-hour shift, Monday to Friday, Night shift)
$32.82 per hour
