Project Engineer

This position provides expertise in development and execution of capital projects for Chelsea Milling Company. The person in this position will have expertise in project management and will use project management tools and strong relationships with CMC personnel and outside partners to meet goals. They must be able to strategically analyze plant processes and help make improvements based on their extensive knowledge of engineering and mechanics. They will design, develop, install, manage, troubleshoot, debug and maintain equipment throughout the facility.

This position requires:

• Bachelor of Engineering (preferably Mechanical).
• Preferably, they will have significant (5+ years) of proven experience in capital project execution in a food manufacturing environment, in the following types of food processing:
  • Bulk, dry products material handling, mixing and packaging
  • Flour milling
  • Packaged goods conveying, palletizing and material handling
• The successful candidate must be results-oriented, able to thrive in a fast-paced, demanding environment, and have the ability to develop positive working relationships with associates and employees.
