Yields: 9 - 12 Servings
Preheat oven to 400°F. Grease an 8” square pan.
Stir ingredients together. Batter will be slightly lumpy. (For maximum crown, let batter rest for 3 or 4 minutes, stir lightly before filling pan.)
Pour batter into pan. Bake 13 – 17 minutes or until golden brown.
For a thicker Johnny Cake, double the recipe and bake for an additional 3 – 5 minutes.
