Ingredients

1-1/2 cups “JIFFY” Baking Mix
1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
1/4 cup margarine or butter, softened
1 egg, beaten
1/2 cup cocoa powder
1/3 cup milk
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 cup nuts, chopped (optional)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350°F. Lightly grease a baking sheet.
Step 2

Combine brown sugar and margarine or butter until creamy.
Step 3

Add egg, cocoa, milk and baking mix. Blend well.
Step 4

Add vanilla and nuts (optional) until combined.
Step 5

Drop by tablespoon on baking sheet. Bake 13 – 14 minutes.
