Motor City Meat Roll made with “JIFFY” Baking Mix.

Yields: 6 – 8 servings
Preheat oven to 400°F. Grease a baking sheet or line with parchment paper.
In a skillet, brown ground beef and onion. Drain excess fat. Add soup mix and water; stir to combine. Add cheese; stir to combine. Set aside.
In a mixing bowl, blend baking mix, flour, and milk to form a soft dough, kneading a few times. On floured surface, roll out to a 15” x 12” rectangle. Spread meat mixture on dough.
In small bowl, beat egg and water together; brush edges of dough with egg wash. Roll up from short edge and place on baking sheet, seam side down. Pinch ends to seal. Slit top several times for venting. Brush egg wash over top of dough.
Bake 20 - 25 minutes or until crust is lightly browned. Slice and serve with your choice of gravy.
