  • Dumplings

Directions

  • Step 1

    For stew, brown ground beef and onion; drain.

  • Step 2

    Stir in green peppers, tomatoes, tomato paste, corn, chili powder, sugar, salt, and pepper; simmer for 5 – 10 minutes.

  • Step 3

    For dumplings, combine muffin mix and minced onions. Stir in egg and milk until blended.

  • Step 4

    Drop by tablespoon on bubbling stew. Cover and simmer 15 – 20 minutes.
